This week's talk on Inclusivity and increasing diversity in the workplace certainly offered the opportunity for a great deal of material to draw from. I chose to use an article I remember reading in the summer of last year as it pertained to the military and made me reflect on my own experiences while I served. Youssef outlines the Army’s plan to remove photos and eventually name and gender identifiers from applicants promotion packages as this is believed to be the cause of racial bias in the decision making process (Youssef, 1).
